If you saw my blog post a few days back, then you know that I did a styled elopement in Joshua Tree with these two gorgeous women. After they modeled for me, they changed and we had a little session for them to celebrate their one year anniversary!
Elisabeth and Mariah met in college at Humboldt State University. Lis said that her first impression of Riah was “talking to her felt like I’ve known her my whole life.” When they graduated, they both moved back to their hometowns and have been making long distance work for them since. They frequently fly out to visit each other and spend most of their times going on pho dates or hiking/adventuring some place new!
In between their visits, the focus on communication and understand each other’s love languages. They also have FaceTime dates where they eat together, watch movies, or play phone games!
They also have one major rule that they always follow: Never say goodbye without knowing when the next time they will see each other. it gives them something to always look forward too.
