Islas Family || Sycamore Canyon || Riverside, CA
I met the Islas family at Sycamore Highlands Park in Riverside, California to take their first family photos. Xochitl told me that she looooves to take pictures of her husband and her daughter, but she doesn’t have very many pictures that include her!
Xochitl and David both warned me that their daughter was incredibly shy and called her “the grumpy baby.” I had to laugh because as soon as we started taking pictures, she was non-stop smiles and giggles!!
The sun was out and shinning perfectly on the Islas Family as we walked through the hills and took their photos.
After we had taken pictures for a few moments, Xochitl told me that they had juuuuust found out they were expecting their second child the week of the photoshoot and wanted to take a few pictures for an announcement in a couple months!
This sweet family thanked me over and over again for making the session so comfortable and enjoyable and assured me they would be contacting me in the future for another session!
