FEENSTRA FAMILY SESSION || TEMECULA, CA
The Feenstra family is a family of 4, mom, dad, their little girl, and their son. When Sarah reached out to me I knew I wanted the pictures to tell a story of this beautiful family and capture the love that they have for each other. I found Sykes Ranch Park near their home in Temecula, CA. It was the first time any of us had been there, so we were hoping it would work well for the vision Sarah had for her family pictures.
There's something magical about taking pictures in the trees. The light filters through the trees and dapples the ground, creating a fairy-tale like setting. And that's exactly what we did for the Feenstra family session!
The Feenstras were so much fun to work with. They were up for anything, even when it meant chasing around their two young children. We captured some beautiful moments of them playing together and laughing.
It was such a joy to be able to capture this family in such a special place. This park will always hold a special place in their hearts, and now they have these beautiful photos to remember it by.
If you have young kids, it's important to keep them entertained during a photo session. One way to do this is by adding movement into the mix. Try having them run around or play tag or even throw them up in the air! The smiles on their faces are always worth it!

The Feenstra family ended their session in a beautiful, wide field in the park. The sun was setting and the light was absolutely perfect! We walked around the field and captured some beautiful moments of this family.
